This is the department's professional honor society (founded in 1922) that recognizes and honors civil engineering students and professionals. Members are selected based on recognition of their scholarship, character, practicality and sociability. Chi Epsilon members are considered top graduates and are highly sought by employers.
This student organization supports Rolla and the surrounding communities in maintaining clean water. Some of the events include float trips, the Missouri stream team, water quality monitoring, stream clean-ups, Earth Day and more.
